Linda Warlick Lambert, 77, of Morganton, N.C. passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023. She was born on December 24, 1945 in Burke County to the late William Warlick and Nellie Marshall Warlick.
Linda was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. She loved her church. Her family and church family were most important to her. Linda enjoyed fishing, watching racing and spending time with her grandkids. She never missed a ballgame or sporting event for her grandson, Levi. Her grandsons were her world.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, John Lambert; daughter, Susan Cunningham (Jason); son, Rusty Lambert; grandchildren, Levi Cunningham, Malachi Cunningham and Jacob Owenby; brother, Johnnie Warlick; several brothers and sisters-in-law; and multiple nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Antioch Baptist Church. The service will begin at 3 p.m. in the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church.
