January 26, 1977 - February 6, 2022
Lloyd Charles "Charlie" Tullis, 45, of Connelly Springs, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, at UNC Health Blue Ridge, following a period of declining health.
Mr. Tullis was born Jan. 26, 1977, in Burke County, to Beatrice Pike Tullis and the late Ray Tullis.
He loved his job as a welder, and listening to his music and hanging out with his family, especially his daughter. He enjoyed getting tattoos.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Dakota Tullis, Dean Tullis, and Charley Dawn Tullis, "the apple of his eye"; his wife, Dorothy Molchan Tullis; his sister, Crystal Johnston and husband, Shane; and his special dad, Tim Queen.
A gathering of friends will be held Friday, Feb. 11, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Heritage Funeral Service. A private inurnment will be held by the family at a later date.
