Mary Brackett Obituary
November 13, 1939 - February 13, 2022
Mary Ann Brackett was born in Morganton, Nov. 13, 1939, to the late Robert Ernest and Fannie Anderson Brackett, and passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022.
She was a graduate of Lees McRae College with a secretarial degree. Her first job was at Mission Hospital in the radiology department. She later worked for Asheville Neurological Associates and became their office manager. She was also the owner and operator of Brackett Lawn Services and a member of Esther Chapter of Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her brother, John Robert Brackett, of Marion; nephews, Neil Brackett (Shannon) of Marion, and Scott Brackett (Danielle) of Morganton; and nieces, Susan Lambert and Lisa McGinn (Craig), both of Morganton.
A memorial service will be held at First Congregational Church of Christ, where she was a member, Saturday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Benevolence Ministry of First Congregational Church, 20 Oak St., Asheville, NC 28801.
