Patty Fullmer Farris

Patty June Fullmer Farris, 89, of Drexel, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Amorem Hospice Burke, following a period of declining health.

Patty was born May 4, 1935, in West Virginia to the late James Londus Fullmer and Elizabeth Dengg Fullmer. Patty was a member of Morganton First Church of God and loved being involved within the church. She will be remembered as a sweet lady that was artistic and enjoyed bird watching and square dancing.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by eight of her 11 siblings.

She is survived by her husband, James Garmon "Squat" Farris; children, Brian Farris and wife Trina, Libby Kelly (Brad Lingerfelt), and Jon Farris and wife Tammy; grandchildren, Alex Farris, Eric Williams and wife Haley, Eli Kelly, Morgan Kelly, and Dr. Emily Farris, PT, DPT; and great-granddaughter, Lillie Williams. Also surviving are her siblings, Stanley Fullmer, John Fullmer and wife Marlene, and Norma Calvert and husband Dave.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Burke Memorial Park with Falls Price Jr. officiating.
