Peggy Moses Obituary
May 24, 1932 - December 27, 2020
Peggy Bridges Moses, 88, of Hickory, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, after a period of declining health. Born in Rutherford County, May 24, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Garland Bridges and Annie Sue Lancaster Bridges. A Godly woman, Peggy was a member of Cross Memorial Baptist Church. She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was the backbone of her family. She will be truly missed.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Jill Hull (Mike); daughter-in-law, Lisa Moses; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Martha Strickland, Hugh Bridges, Russell Bridges, Don Bridges, and Earl Bridges; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Phifer Moses; son, Joey Moses; daughters, Robin Sigmon and Judith Moses; sisters, Jean Bridges and Katherine Bailey; and a brother, Henry Bridges.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Burke Memorial Park with Dr. Jeffrey Beach officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
