Ruby Lowman Obituary
March 8, 1923 - December 23, 2022
Mrs. Ruby P. Lowman, 99, of Connelly Springs, passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at College Pines Nursing Center, after a period of declining health.
Ruby was born March 8, 1923, in Watauga County, a daughter of the late Charlie and Polly Norris Phillips. Ruby was a faithful member of Icard's Grove Baptist Church. She was a wonderful, loving Christian who was well loved by all who knew her. Our loss is Heaven's gain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fay Lowman; sons, Danny Lowman and Donnie Lowman; four brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are her children, C.D. Lowman and wife, Pat, Judy Hildebran and husband, Bobby, Doris Crowder and husband, Randy; daughters-in-law, Sondra Lowman, Gail Lowman; and sister, Ruth Huffman. Also surviving are the apples of her eye, her 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ruby P. Lowman will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 29, at Icard's Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Eldon Hinegardner officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Heritage Funeral Service.

To all Ruby's remaining family, my heart goes out to you at this sad time. I rented from Ruby,many years ago. She was one of the sweetest Ladies I know. I Loved her too. Treasure the good memories with her that you had & keep them close. Prayers for God to comfort you all,as only He can do.
