Virginia "Ginny" Lovelace

October 9, 1945 - May 3, 2022

Virginia "Ginny" Lovelace, 76, of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

Born in Missouri, Oct. 9, 1945, she was the daughter of the late William Oberhaus and Charlotte Breazeale Oberhaus. Ginny was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of P.E.O. and the Garden Club. Ginny considered nothing more important than family.

Mrs. Lovelace is survived by her sons, Craig and Corey; sister, Ann Todd; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Marion Lovelace; infant son, Chad Michael Lovelace; and numerous brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Thursday, May 12, at First Presbyterian Church. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m., in the church, with the Rev. John Hagmann officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Ginny was a lovely addition to the Mimosa Garden Club a number of years ago. May her family be comforted by her faith and many happy memories.
