Charles Klejka Obituary
He was born June 11, 1931 in Lilly, Pa. He retired from Ford Motor Co. as an electrician.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen M. (nee O'Donnell) Klejka; sons Dr. Joseph (Jacqueline) Klejka of Bethel, Alaska, John Klejka, Dr. James (Jody) Klejka, Stephen Klejka and daughter Theresa (Brian) Kovacs; 16 grandchildren; brother Thaddeus Klejka and sisters Cecilia Yingling and Joan Watson.
He was active in the Catholic Big Brothers and was especially beloved by Bill Adamic and Ron Zelenka.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph M. and Victoria (nee Psioda) Klejka and sister Helen Kozinski.
The family will receive friends on Friday January 31, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the MISENCIK FUNERAL HOME, 36363 Detroit Rd. Avon, Ohio where closing prayers will be at 9:45 AM on Saturday followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 715 Harris Rd. Sheffield Lake. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant House, Times Square Station, P.O. Box 731, New York, NY 10108-0900

Kathy,
Just went to the cemetery for Father's Day, and saw Charlie's memorial stone which is very near my dad and brother's. So I looked it up online and saw he died in January. You were such an inspiring couple to us in our young married years (now we're at 40!) Your family was amazing. So a new intercessor in heaven, and our

Charlie was Holy Name Man of the year for St. Thomas. This is how I got to know Charlie. He was dedicated to St. Thomas Holy Name and the Lord. He taught me how to be a Holy Namer. I am proud to have known Charlie.
