Johnny Jackson Obituary
He was born in Cedarburg, VA. coming to Elyria 50 years ago.
He was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed cars, auto racing, and golfing in which he received many awards.
He was survived by his daughters: Lori Jackson-Bogunmbe, of Abiadan Nigeria, Lisa Johnson, of Hampton, GA., Lisa Mason, and Trina Mahoney, both of Lorain, OH., sons: Johnny Jackson Jr., of Palmetto, GA., Matthew Mason, of Lorain, OH., Michael Allen, of Jonesboro, GA., Timothy Mason, of Lorain, OH., 25 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Hattie Jackson, 12 sisters and brothers.
Friends may call Thursday, May 31, 2012 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 127 W. Bridge Street, Elyria, OH 44035 from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon. Minister Chuck Cornwell will officiate of The God's Kingdom Church.
Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, OH.
