Joy K. Schuller

NORTH OLMSTED – Joy K. Schuller, 77, of North Olmsted, died Tuesday January 12, 2016 at Rae-Ann Westlake after a short illness.
She was born September 2, 1938 in Lorain and had resided in North Olmsted for over 40 years moving from Lorain.
Joy graduated from St. Mary High School in Lorain and attended various colleges to obtain her degree in education. She taught 5th grade for North Ridgeville Schools for over 30 years before retiring.
Joy loved being with her friends, socializing and attending social functions. She was a very giving and caring person who always looked out for others and helped her elderly neighbors.
She is survived by her brother Ronald (Mary Ann) Schuller of Cinnamon Lake, niece Lisa (Scott) Caco of Lorain, great nieces Lauren and Erica Caco and sister-in-law Mary Jo Brown of Avon Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Kathleen Schuller (nee Jones) and brother Dennis A. Schuller in 2015.
The family will receive friends Sunday Jan. 17th from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Additional visiting will be held Monday Jan. 18th from 11:30 am until Noon at St. Mary Catholic Church, 310 8th St, Lorain. The mass of Christian Burial will follow on Monday at Noon in the church. The Rev. Gerald Keller will preside. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
