Marcus Harris Obituary
Mr. Harris was born in Magnolia Arkansas then coming to Lorain in 1958.
Mr. Harris was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and was employed with the C.Brown Asphalt Company in Lorain as a laborer's contractor for 28 years.
He was a member of Greater Noel Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Lorain, he enjoyed fishing, cooking and was an avid sports fan and enjoyed being around family, friends and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by daughters; Lateece Q Watkins of Birmingham Alabama, Shalonda Harris-Jackson, Latisha Harris-English of Euclid Ohio, Tapeaka Harris of Cleveland and Jasmine Lovett of Lorain, sons; Marcus W. Harris Jr. of East Cleveland and Malachi Harris of Lorain, 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, sisters; Barbara (Ron) Moore of Elyria, Thelma (Larry) Harris-Bland of Lorain, Peggy Daniels of Columbus Ohio, Denise Harris of Lorain, brothers; Lonnie Harris of Elyria and John Harris of Columbus, Ohio and his companion Shamonica Davis of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by parents Cidney and Clara Harris, brothers, Jimmy and James Harris, sister Regina Harris.
Celebration of life will be on Monday November 10, 2014 from 10am until time of service at 11am at Greater Noel Tabernacle Church of God in Christ 3529 Ada Ave., Lorain where Elder Cleveland Briggen will officiate services.
In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Boys and Girls Club of Lorain @4111 Pearl Ave., Lorain, Ohio.

To be absent from the body is to present with the lord.harris family u guys are in are prayers.losing a sister are brother, father, etc is not easy but god makes no mistake.love u all.
