Margie Pol Obituary
Born November 22, 1968 in Olesnica, Poland, she and her family moved to Lorain when she was nine years old. The family joined Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary where Margie met some of her closest and lifelong friends. She graduated from Southview High School, The University of Toledo and Cleveland State University as a Physical Therapy Major.
Margie was employed by NexStep Healthcare as a Physical Therapy Assistant with Mercy Allen Hospital in Oberlin, where her gentle, yet persuasive manner in treating patients helped her become a patient favorite. Margie loved to spend time with family and friends, reading, baking and cooking for everyone.
She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Brad Pol; children, Ayden and Zoey; her parents, Szymon and Katherine Galik; siblings, Violet (Matthew) Montgomery, Roman (Stephanie) Galik and David Galik, nieces and nephews; Katie Galik, Lexie Galik, Olivia Sperry, Connor Galik, Eva Galik, Lincoln Montgomery, Joshua (Dawn) Pol, Treva (Rick) Alleshouse, Clay Dustin, Kelsey Dustin and Keegan Dustin. She is also survived by her father and mother-in-law, Marilyn and Jerry Pol, and brothers and sisters-in-law Sue and Mark Pol and Lisa and Paul Dustin.
Calling hours from 5:00PM – 8:00PM Friday, May 13, 2016: Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, OH 44001.
Funeral Services: Saturday, May 14, 2016, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 418 West 15th Street, Lorain, OH 44052. 10:00AM Viewing, 11:00AM Funeral Mass followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery, 555 North Ridge Road W, Lorain, OH 44053.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Ayden & Zoey's education funds c/o Brad Pol at First Merit Bank, 565 S. Abbe Branch, Elyria, Ohio 44035.

Pol and Galik family,
My deepest condolences during this time. My heart breaks for your family. Zoey and Ayden are two of the best kids I have ever had the pleasure of working with, why are they so great? Because of their great parents. Even from the little bit of interaction with Margie over the couple of years, You could tell she was a woman of Character. She loved God, and she loved her Kids. She always cared about the projects Zoey made and was always eager to hear about her day. She showed the characteristics of a great mother, wife, and friend. Praying you find God's overwhelming, explainable love and peace during this time.

I am so sorry .No words will do just to your loss
Margie was such a great friend and teacher . I learned a lot from her in the days when I was just starting out in therapy. As my education progressed I was lucky enough to become friends with her as well .
She often expressed how blessed she was to have such a great husband and how in love she was with her husband .She was very proud and often told her " bunco friends " stories and showed pictures of her beautiful children
