Mark Lewis Obituary

Mark D. Lewis, a life-long resident of Amherst, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, November 5, 2021, at the age of 56.Born August 17, 1965 in Amherst to the late William and Ruth Lewis, he graduated from Marion L. Steele High School in 1983.Marked worked as a master technician at Premier Toyota in Amherst for the past 5 years. Prior to this he worked as a mechanic at Sliman’s Sales and Service in Amherst for over 10 years.A true outdoorsman, Mark loved to hunt, fish, camp and 4-wheeling.He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Gwendolyn “Gwen” Card-Lewis; children, LaKeesha Schouster of Brookpark, Ohio, Shannon Lewis and Mark D. Lewis Jr. both of Amherst; grandchildren, Daniel, Jelaina, Xiamara and Olivia; sister, Sandra Farley of Wakeman and a niece, Hannah Farley.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 17 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
