Michael Ray "Mike" Jordan

1957 - 2021

Michael "Mike" Ray Jordan, age 63 and a life resident of Lorain, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at Mercy New Life Hospice, Lorain.Mike was born November 23, 1957 in Lorain to the late Donald and Mary (nee Nemecek) Jordan. Mike was a Clearview High School alumni being a member of the Class of 1975. Following high school, he was a semi-truck driver for ten years and then became a machinist working at Savannah Tool & Manufacturing of North Ridgeville for the past 27 years. Mike was diehard fan of all Cleveland sports. While his children were youngsters, he coached Little League, travelling baseball teams, Peewee football, and was also a CYO basketball coach.Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Laura (nee Shulsky); their three children: Lindsey Jordan, Chad Jordan (fiance Christine Fitzgerald), Matt Jordan, all of Lorain; grandson, Aiden Resch; three sisters: Denise (Kevin) Nard of Monroe, Michigan, Kim (Jeff) Hughett of Amherst, Shelly Livingston of Lorain, ten nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m., Monday at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.
