Myra Maine Obituary
She was born July 11, 1912 in Holloway, Ohio and had resided in Lorain since childhood..
Myra was a devout member of the former Delaware Avenue Methodist Church in Lorain. She enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband Dowd.
She is survived by her daughter Carole (James H.) Chapman of Cincinnati, 5 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Dowd Maine, daughter Nihla Dull in October 2012, great granddaughter Debra Majkut on July 28, 2015, parents Charles Halbert Stewart and Edna Elizabeth Stewart (nee Cropp) and her sisters and brothers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday January 17th from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 18th at 11:00 AM in the funeral chapel. Mr. Chuck Boals, chaplain of Lighthouse United Methodist Church in Lorain, will preside. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
