Tony Cushing Obituary

SHEFFIELD LAKE - Tony Lee Cushing, age 62, of Sheffield Lake and formerly of Elyria, went home to be with the Lord and his Son Sunday, October 3, 2010 as the result of an automobile accident caused by heart complication.
He was born June 1, 1948 in Cleveland, OH and graduated from Midview High School in Grafton, OH. He has resided in Sheffield Lake for the past 15 years, and previously lived in Elyria.
Tony retired in 2009 as a machinist for ADI Machining in Sheffield Village with 15 years of service. He enjoyed bingo and gambling, fishing and camping, grilling out and eating out, playing his guitar and cards, and laughing with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ronda K. Cushing (nee Langford); a daughter Malynda J. Cushing (fiancé Dave Kral) of Sheffield Lake, OH; two grandchildren Paige Cushing and Clinton Herniman; a brother John Napier (wife Jean) of Chillicothe, OH; three sisters, Donna Crow (Max) of Huntington, WV, Ann Steele of Chillicothe, OH, and Sharon Bellamy (Jim) of Avon, OH; mother-in-law Joanne Langford of Elyria; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Tony R. Cushing (1995), father-in-law Rondal L. Langford, a brother David Napier, his parents Tony and Malynda Cushing (nee Napier), foster parents J.C. and Pearlene Napier. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral services will at the Funeral Home on Friday, October 8 at 12:00pm. Rev. Daniel E. Reinke, Pastor of Park Ave. United Methodist Church in Amherst, will officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria. Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria from 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday.
