I'm sad to discover today about the passing of Dr. Cruz. I remember cracking up at his "Dad" jokes - always delivered in a quiet voice behind an impish smile. I remember him caring for his lawn. I can still see him carefully surveying his work - dressed in an old, long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves un-buttoned and flipping in the breeze. Mostly, I remember seeing how much he cared for his family and friends. It was a blessing to have known Dr. Cruz.
