Bryan Heitman Obituary
He was born July 18, 1959 in Girard, a son of Jack and Pauline (Gilliland) Heitman. Bryan attended Girard Schools and graduated from Frontenac High School. He had attended Pittsburg State College Vo-Tech and received degrees in welding and auto body repair.
Bryan had worked for Neosho County road department and had various jobs in this area. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Survivors are a daughter, Haley Scholes and her husband of Pittsburg; three grandchildren, Rylee Best, Damian Best, and MaKenna Scholes; his father Jack Heitman of Pittsburg; a sister, Wendy Strukel and her husband Warren of Girard; a brother Barry Heitman and his wife Sue of Troy, Tennessee; a brother Jerry Heitman of Coffeyville; a brother Bill Heitman and his wife Joann of Hudson, Ohio; and his friend, Jennifer Van Kirk of Lamar, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 1998.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2013 at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard.

I'm so sorry Wendy. I had 2 brothers and no sisters. I just found out about 30 min. ago that my brother I have left has 3 -6 months because of colon cancer. Take care Love you, Deb
