Diana LaForge Obituary
She was born September 5, 1936 at Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Mabel (Lampela) Harris.
On November 5, 1957, she was united in marriage to Charles Patrick LaForge in Plymouth, Michigan. He preceded her in death on June 30, 2002.
Mrs. LaForge worked at Sears and Walmart.
Membership was held in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Frontenac and she served as a Pink Lady for Via Christi Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Kevin LaForge of Pittsburg; three daughters, Sandra K. Longoria and her husband, Omar of Houston, TX, Renee LaForge of Independence, KS, and Michele LaForge of Pittsburg; a brother, Robert Harris and his wife, Deanne of Washington; two half-sisters, Ann Brady of Center Line, Michigan and Arlene Hasinski of Prudenville, Michigan; six grandchildren, Michael Collins, Amanda Roberts, Jacob LaForge, Grant LaForge, Ursula (LaForge) Kellett, and Xavier LaForge; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Terry LaForge.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday (Nov 27) at the Brenner Mortuary with Fr. Thomas Stroot officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery. A parish rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Brenner Mortuary. The family will receive friends following the rosary until 7:30 p.m. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family requests that memorials be given to Sacred Heart Memorial Fund or Wesley House. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 East 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762. Friends may leave condolences online at www.brennermortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, Pittsburg, KS.

Diane was a dear friend for many years. We shared countless events, meetings and memories. Our hearts are sad with you and rejoice that she is reunited with her beloved husband, your Dad, grandfather and geart grandfather. We are grateful for her being a special person in our lives.
