Deborah Mosher Obituary

Deborah 'Debbie' Lynn Mosher
Died: April 4, 2022
Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Mosher, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 4, 2022.
Survived by her husband and lasting friend of 47 years, Jerrold "Jerry" D. Mosher; children, Amy L. Mosher (Lester Betsinger) of Oswego, IL, Mallory M. Mosher (Megan R. Whisler) of Richmond, VA; grandchildren Alexander "Xander" Mosher, Margaret and Vivian Johnston, and Elena Carroll; siblings Sharon A. (Paul) Frausto, Michael J. (Lynne) Schmitz, Kathleen Schmitz and Vicki Schmitz of Joliet; and numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Preceded in death by her parents William J. and Elizabeth "Betty" Schmitz, brother William B. Schmitz, two siblings in infancy, and beloved maternal grandmother Bernice M. Schaar.
Debbie graduated from St. Francis Academy in 1973. She worked at Sears and JCPenney before starting her own cleaning company for over 25 years.
She will be remembered for soaking up the sun at the pool, bike riding, parades, live rock 'n' roll and disco music, calligraphy skills, Diet Pepsi and Reese's peanut butter cups. Debbie was best known for her generous friendship and bringing people together everywhere she went; she was proud of creating the Bunco Babes, who have been meeting for over 22 years. Debbie loved getting her kicks on Route 66, was a board member of the Illinois Route 66 Association and a regular volunteer for the Preservation Committee.
Most of her joy in life came from her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved being Grandma and was committed to spending as much time as possible with her family
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 12:00 NOON TO 4:00 p.m. at the Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, Illinois 60543.

Sending healing prayers to Debbie´s family. I met Debbie when I worked at Dominicks in Oswego and in the last year or more she cleaned my boyfriends house . Wonderful lady . She will be missed .

My heart felt sympathy, and condolences for Debbie's family. May God ease your sorrow. I will miss Debbie's friendship, especially our talks. I will miss planting our flowers and decorating our "sky deck" as she called it, in the spring. I will miss our walks and our "venting" sessions. We always felt better afterwards. Good bye my friend for now. God promises us that we shall see you again.
