Don loved following the stock market on television and going to the casinos whenever he could. He was also a huge Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed Johnny Cash music.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his happy and positive attitude, and his jokes he was always ready to share. He also served as a brave example to his family and friends during his 27-year battle with Parkinson's Disease.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Hall; two children, Carrie Elizabeth Hall of Oxford, OH, and Donald Scott (Alyssa) Hall of Lemont; one granddaughter, Abigail Hall; a sister, Beverly (Richard) White of Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Geraldine (Gene) White.
