Wayne F. Price, age 92, of Morris passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the Lightways Hospice in Joliet. Born October 31, 1928, in Neponset, Illinois, he was the son the late James and Alice (Adams) Price.
Wayne married Patricia Morgan on December 30, 1950. He worked in sales at Greenway Motors in Morris and farmed in Bureau and Henry County for many years. Wayne was a loving family man and will be greatly missed.
Wayne is survived by his son, Brent F. (Zoe) Price of Morris and daughter, Polly (Tom) Cutler of Morris; grandchildren, Mandy (Brad) Bolander of Oswego, Jennifer Price of Morris, Corley (Luis) Price of Mt. Prospect, Abbie (Larry) Rea of Morris, Cassie Cox of Plainfield, Kelly Cutler of Naperville and Kerry (Ryan) Roth of Plainfield; great grandchildren, Max and Sam Bolander of Oswego, Jett and Maya Price of Morris, Morgan, Luke and Brady Brown of Morris and Shay and Finn Roth of Plainfield.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia and grandson, Ben Price.
A private Mass and celebration of Wayne's life is scheduled at Immaculate Conception Church. He will be inurned at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with his wife Patricia.
Memorials may be made in Wayne's name to either Special Connections of Grundy County, Immaculate Conception Church or "Live in Hope" the Ben Price Foundation.
