Areleen F. Eisel

Areleen F. (Gallus) Eisel, 84-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN (formerly of Inver Grove Heights, MN) died peacefully on June 7, 2023, with her family at her bedside.

Mass of Christian Burial held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June, 14, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Patrick Hoeft officiating. Burial at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls. Visitation held from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Rosary at 4:30 PM on Tuesday.

Areleen was born on September 3, 1938 in Harding, MN to the late Helen and Peter Gallus.

Areleen was united in marriage to Dale Eisel in March, 1967 in South St. Paul, MN. The couple made there home in Inver Grove Heights. She worked for Unisys Corporation for 25 years and then at Rainbow Foods until her retirement.

Areleen was always a happy lady with a smile for everyone. She had a love for her family that was unmistakable. She really enjoyed spending time with Connor (her "little boy") playing hide and seek and going to the park. She enjoyed being outside and planting her flowers. She was so proud to show everyone her flower beds. She enjoyed going for walks, drinking her coffee, watching the polka dancing on TV and also watching Wrestling on Monday nights (telling Dale to go in the other room). She would go with Amber on Wednesday night for soup and sandwiches at Church. Areleen and Dale enjoyed their many trips to the casino, and they would play Yahtzee with Amber and Areleen would "Always" win. Areleen enjoyed spending time with her girlfriends, especially Veronica and Joanne, even going on a bus trip to Branson. Morning trips to Caribou with Amber on the way to school were a must. Areleen loved her Dachshunds and her cats. (Even Dana's dog Lexi would give kisses to Areleen and she would always try to steal Lexi every time she came over).

Areleen is survived by loving husband, Dale; daughter, Kathy; granddaughter, Amber; great-grandson, Connor; along with many family and friends near and far.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Helen (Krych) Gallus; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Rosie, Roger and Karen, Howard and Lynn and Archie.
