Marguerite Scheper Obituary
Margie was born on September 5th 1947 in Mott North Dakota to Edwin and Marguerite (Reinert) Waddell. The family moved to Minnesota in 1965 eventually landing in Royalton where she graduated in 1966.
On June 15th, 1966, she was united in marriage to John Scheper at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton. They moved to Lakeville, MN where they welcomed their first-born daughter, Melissa. They moved back to Royalton and welcomed their 2nd daughter, Susan. In the early 70's they moved to LeSuer, MN when their 3rd daughter, Jodi was born. They eventually moved back to Royalton. Margie worked at Munsingwear in Little Falls, Telex in Lesueur, and Buckos Grocery in Royalton. She had a talent for knitting, crocheting and made many quilts, potholders, animals, dolls, christening gowns, etc. She made sure all her grandchildren and great- grandchildren had a crochet or knitted blanket and a sweater. She also sewed and gardened. She loved her flowers and could get anything to bloom. Garage sales were also something she enjoyed, and she found many treasures.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Marguerite. Brothers- Nick, Clyde, Raymond, Leroy, and sister-in-law, Beverly.
Margie is survived by her husband of 58 years John; Daughters- Melissa "Lisa" (Steve) Popp of Royalton; Susie (Todd) Omann of Buckman; Jodi (Kris) Ling of Sartell; 16 grandchildren and 8 great grand children.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 28, 2025 at Holy Trinity Church in Royalton at 11:00 AM with visitation at 10:00AM
