Warren C. Haus, 79-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the VA Hospital in St. Cloud, MN.
A funeral service was held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN. Burial took place in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN. Visitation was held from 4-7 P.M. on Monday, November 17, 2025 and from 10-11 A.M. on Tuesday, all at the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN. Caring for Warren and his family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN.
Warren was born on April 5, 1946, in Lamar, CO, to the late Charles and Margaret (Johnson) Haus. He grew up and attended school in Winthrop, MN. Following his education, Warren enlisted in the United States Army, where he honorably served his country during the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge. In 1967, he married Shirley Bieniek and they had two daughters. In June of 2007, he married Barbara Saatzer. Warren began working at Landy Meat Packing in St. Cloud, where he was employed for 17 years. He later owned and operated his own mechanic shop and also drove truck over the road as an owner-operator.
Warren had many passions throughout his life. He loved dirt track racing, snowmobiling, and attending flea markets, always on the hunt for a unique treasure. A talented craftsman, he enjoyed working with wood and spending time camping with his family. He especially loved his square-body Chevy trucks, his John Deere tractor, and the many dogs he cared for over the years. Above all, Warren cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. He especially loved taking his grandchildren on golf cart rides, creating memories they will always hold dear.
Warren was a hardworking man who led by example, instilling the same work ethic in his family. Even after retirement, he could always be found busy with a project or lending a helping hand.
He is survived by wife, Barbara Haus; children, Lynn Notsch of Rice, MN, Shannon (Jason) Ruff of St. Augusta, Brian Haus of Babbitt, MN; grandchildren, Cassandra (Mason) Carter, Karlee Notsch, Brianna Ruff, John Ruff, Clayton Haus; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Bella, Jaiden; sisters, Holly Bernstein and Barbara Roebeck; step-children, Jonda Utz, Rhonda Bielejeski, Awanda Bielejeski, Heidi Wettstein.
Warren was preceded in death by parents, Charles Haus and Margaret Hoffman; sisters, Bonnie Lou and Margurite Haus; brothers, Loren Haus, Burl Haus; son-in-law, Mike Notsch.
