CLARKSVILLE - It is with a heavy heart; I share the passing of my beloved sister Jacqualyn.
She was born and raised in Morrow County. Lived in Marengo, attended the United Methodist Church, and was educated in the Highland School district, and Ohio State University.
Jacqualyn "Jackie" was an achiever. It seemed everything she put her mind to doing or learning, she did it well. Her accomplishments were many. Jackie loved Horses and was a member of the Boots and Saddles 4-H Club. She loved showing in the county fair and going to horseshows in the area. She became the Morrow County Sr. Equestrian Queen for the year of 1976.
At Highland High School her extra curricular activities included the Marching Band, an Office Guidance worker, Drama Club, Science Club member, Year Book staff, Photography Club, Men's Basketball Statistician, National Honor Society, Lady Scot's Sectional/Regional Champions in 1976/77. And contestant with three other Scot's on In-The Know, defeating London HS 145 to 90 in 1976.
Jackie wasn't just a sister, but my best friend and confidant. We spoke often of growing up and the countless adventures we had. She really had a heart of gold, loved and cared for her family a great deal.
Jackie set two goals at the age of 20, one was to have a successful career. She began in the automotive Industry as a cashier in the repair department, and climbed to ladder, became a warranty clerk, service writer, service manager, and then area service manager for Kim Hackett's stores in Longwood, Orlando, Osceola and South Orlando. Fl. Her second goal was to be happily married. She found the best husband in Gary, whom she adored, loved and cherished immensely.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Frances Noble McAdams and Gary Martin of Clarksville, Tn. Left to mourn her loss are her siblings Joe, Jane, Suzanne, John, James Timothy and Mark, and special relative Tonya Anderson Conley of Marengo.
Special Thanks to her Sisters-In-Law, Glenda Angus and Gloria Davis for the love and support they gave her and her family.
In Lieu of flowers please send a donation on behalf of Jackie to the American Cancer Society research center.
