KEVIN FISHER Obituary
Kevin loved to travel, and lived in both Bremen, Germany after high school with AFS and in Aix-en-Provence, France where he studied in college. He became fluent in both languages and loved learning and living the cultures.
Kevin was very creative and loved working on all kinds of projects, from building yurts, sculpting, cooking, and leather/wood work, to working at the Renaissance Faire and on many construction projects.
He graduated from Valley College (AA), Cal State San Bernardino (BA) and the University of Redlands (MA).
Kevin was a high school teacher for over thirty years. He taught German, French, Theater, and Multimedia. He taught at Pacific High School in San Bernardino, Redlands High School, and Citrus Valley High School in Redlands, CA. He loved teaching and forged many lasting relationships with students, staff, and colleagues over the years.
Kevin was also an active member of his church community, where he enjoyed serving on various commissions and growing with others of all ages in fellowship.
Despite many health challenges over the years, Kevin always fought to live life to the fullest and his zest for life and the people he loved always shone through.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Eve Tompkins-Fisher, his children Rhiannon and Liam Fisher, as well as his mother and five siblings (Linda, Doug, Katy, Christine, and Karsten), and many nieces and nephews.
Kevin passed away on September 26, 2023, and a Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at the First Baptist Church of Redlands at 11 am on June 15, 2024 (51 West Olive Ave, Redlands, CA). The service will be live-streamed on the church website, and will be available for viewing afterwards on YouTube.

Kevin was such a great guy. We were friends in high school. I remember we even marched onto the field for graduation together. My heart-felt condolences to Eve and all of your family.
