Bernice Delforte Obituary
Canandaigua - Bernice (Burger) Delforte, age 83, passed away December 31, 2020, with her family by her side. She is survived by three children, Nick (Kim) Delforte, Vickie Delforte and Tammie (Emilios) Papas; daughter-in-law, Annette Delforte; son-in-law, Ray Gonzalez; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara (Jim) Gage. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicodemo Delforte in 2011; and her children.
Bernice will be remembered for her sense of humor, excellent cooking and love of family.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Mary's Church at a later date and time to be announced. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Benedict Parish for St. Mary's Church, 95 N. Main St., Canandaigua, NY 14424. Arrangements are by Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., Canandaigua. Condolences may be offered at www.johnsonkennedy.com.

To Bernice’s Family,
Although I did not know your mom for very long at Horizons, I can tell you that I truly loved her. She made my transition to Horizons’s so much easier and so much more pleasant. She was fun and her sense of humor was constant. Whenever she was around, laughter was a given.
When she moved from Horizons, I was very sad all the while hoping she would return.
I am sure she is making everyone in heaven very happy just to be around her. Heaven has gained its’ newest angel. Rest joyfully in the peace and beauty of heaven, Bernice. I will never forget you.
