Caroline Shipman Obituary

Caroline Shipman Caroline Shipman, 88, passed away peacefully on Nov. 13, 2012, in Idaho. She was born in Canandaigua on Aug. 23, 1924. She married her sweetheart of 64 years, Edward Shipman, on April 3, 1948.. They moved to California in 1957 where they raised their four children. In 1988, Ed and Carol retired to Idaho. Carol's greatest joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gladys Bird. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Shipman; sons, John Shipman (Kelly) and Kenneth Shipman; daughters, Donna Wood (Mike) and Kathrine Severt (Chris); sister, Hazel Bird of Manchester; and several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 19, at 11 a.m. at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene.
