Although we did not know John that well, we have been privileged to know one of his children, Amy. She is a joy and blessing to have in our church! I know that she is who she is largely because of her wonderful consistent parental influence. John's legacy lives on his children, examples of his exemplary life! We're praying for your family as you grieve.

Amy, and Dave: I know there are not words to ease your pain. Hopefully knowing we care about you and are holding you close in our thoughts and prayers will help. I never had the pleasure of meeting your father, but I know he was a wonderful man. It showed in the tinkle in your eyes when you spoke of him... He will live in your heart and it will show in your eyes forever. Please extend our deepest sympathies to your family, we will be praying for you and them.

Dear Rose Anne and family,
Words cannot express our sorrow. 'Papa' had become such a huge part of our lives and we loved him dearly. We will always fondly recall his wit and insatiable hunger for knowledge. Most of all, we'll remember him for his dedication and unconditional love for his family. We will do everything possible to keep John's memory alive for his grandchildren. Please accept our most heartfelt condolences.
