John R. Dredger Beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend BLOOMFIELD - John R. Dredger, age 64, died unexpectedly at F.F. Thompson Hospital on Friday, May 14, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Anne Dredger; four children, John (Mary Lou) Dredger and Jason (Kelly) Dredger, both of Bloomfield, Timothy (Danielle) Dredger of Farmington and Amy (David) Adams of Grove City, Pa.; beloved grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Kelly and Michael; sister, Joan (Peter) DiMarco of Queens, N.Y.; many cousins, including Judy Veach of Yonkers, N.Y.; and many dear friends. John was born in New York City and was the son of John and Helen (Matusek) Dredger. He attended schools there. John Served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army. He retired in 1992 after 28 years at Eastman Kodak. John enjoyed fly fishing and model railroads. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. There will be no calling hours. His funeral Mass will be celebrated tomorrow (Monday) at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget's Church, 15 Church St., Bloomfield. Interment will be in St. Bridget's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or East Bloomfield-Holcomb Fire Department, 44 Main St., Bloomfield, NY 14469.
