Joshua Emerson Obituary

Joshua David Emerson SAVANNAH, Ga. - "Josh," 23, was an officer of the Savannah Police Department and served four years in the U.S. Army where he acquired the rank of specialist E4. Josh graduated from Canandaigua Academy in 2015 and was a member of the cross-country team where he broke personal best records. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of four years, Jasmine Biery Emerson; mother, June Hessenius (James) of Farmington; father, Robert Emerson (Joanne) of Scottsville, N.Y.; sisters, Tera, Jennifer and Ashley (Charles); step-siblings, Brandon, Adrienne and Dominique; and dogs, Buddha, Tonto and Archer. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his best friend, Kevin Palmisano. Friends may call on Friday, January 3, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home Inc., 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua. A 7 p.m. memorial service will follow at the funeral home.
