M. Doris Magin CANANDAIGUA - M. Doris Magin, age 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, with her family by her side. She is survived by her son, James (Marlaine) Magin; three daughters, Jeanne (Robert) Cease, Joanne (Patrick) Gisle and Joyce Magin (Stephen Ryan); daughter-in-law, Norma Magin Burger; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew F. Magin in 2002; son, Gerald Magin in 1995; sister, M. Verita LaForce; and brother, William Snyder. Friends may call on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 95 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester. Memorial contributions may be made to the School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester, NY 14623. Condolences may be offered at www.johnsonkennedy.com.
