Robert Krossber

Robert Krossber "Bob" Robert B. Krossber, age 79, formerly of Seneca Drive, passed away May 5, 2009 in Deland, Fla. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Helen (Walker) Krossber; children, Dottie (Glenn) Gilley, Robin Ashworth-Clark, Mark (Sylvia) Ashworth, Susan (James) Bailey, Tammy (Rick) Rodas and Judy (Rich) Boze; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; brothers, Edward (Madelyn) Krossber and Richard (Connie) Krossber; sisters, Ruth (Earl) Thompson and Mary Ellen Krossber; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Stephen; mother, Vera (Austin); brother, Stephen; sister, Beverly; son-in-law, Robert Clark; and granddaughter, Cissy Logan. Bob was born Feb. 5, 1930 and lived in Canandaigua until retiring from American Can Company in 1990. In 1991 Bob and his wife moved to Deland. Bob loved spending time with friends and family. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 11, at 6 p.m. at United Methodist Church, 12 State St., Manchester. Contributions in Bob's memory may be made to United Methodist Church or to Deland High School FFA.
