Barbara Hobbs Obituary

Barbara Hobbs, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home on May 27th. Born on February 3, 1939, in Terre Haute, Indiana, Barbara lived a life filled with love, faith, and cherished moments with family and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clyde Hobbs; her parents, Parker and Edna Husselton; her sisters, Lois Smith, Dortha Roberts, Evelyn Franklin, and Mary Lanz; and her brother, Mahlon Husselton. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and devotion, survived by her daughter, Karen Hendricks of Amarillo, her son, Troy Hobbs, and his wife, Cassie of Midland. Her grandchildren also survive her: Graeson Hendricks and her partner, Deric Eggert of Amarillo; her grandson, Griffin Hendricks, his wife, Hannah, and their children, Liam and Emmett, of Spokane, Washington; and grandchildren Aislinn and Holden Hobbs of Midland.
A woman of deep faith, Barbara was an active member of her church, where she shared her beautiful voice as a dedicated choir member. Her passion for music was matched by her love for travel, which took her to many corners of the world, creating memories she treasured. Above all, Barbara found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and friends, whose lives she touched with her kindness and generosity.
Barbara's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held at The Continental at Park Central in Amarillo on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

Karen, so sorry to hear of your mom´s passing. She & your dad were such dear friends of ours. Many memories of them as friends & employer. We had texted not too long ago & she seemed to be fine. At least she didn´t have to be sick for a long time. Our heartfelt condolences to you. I know you will miss her. We loved them both.
We would have come to the service, but we have moved to San Antonio. I don´t have contact information for you.
