Darnell Wallace Obituary

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Velma Wallace-Murray, Midland, Shirley Wallace, Midland, and Tommy Wallace of Dallas, and Barbara Wallace Fulsom of Cibola, Tx.

Mother Wallace will be greatly missed by all that knew her. What a woman of God to pattern our lives after. She has run a good race and have finished her course, she "has arrived". I'm just thankful that I knew her in this lifetime. My prayers and thoughts to her entire family.

I have known Mother Wallace all of my life. She has always been there for my family in prayer and in deeds. I knew Mother Wallace as a teacher of life and a lady of prayer and faith, and she definitely lived the life that she taught.
Anytime you were in her presences, you were going to be blessed with her wisdom, her smile and most of all her love. She did not care if she knew your name; she knew you were a soul.
Mother Wallace was also a comedian, she would “crack on you” like no other and all you could do is laugh. She had a knack for saying funny stuff and looking so innocent while you got in trouble for laughing or talking.
At the end of the day, you knew if you needed prayer that was the woman to call. I will never forget the times we shared. I am glad that I was blessed to be in her presence. She will always be in my heart.

Mother Wallace was one of the sweetest saints I have ever known. She opened her home to me as a young man and allowed me to be one of her family. Mr. Clint told my dad that I was their son.
She lived what she professed, and she did not profess what she did not possess. Jesus Christ was and is her Lord and Savior.
It has been one the greatest pleasures of my life to know and be taught be Mother Wallace. She was my first Sunday School teacher.

There are few people that have the ability to impact a life to the degree that Mother Wallace did. I remember her making me (as a child) stand in the corner because I was acting up, her teaching us the books of the Bible, and as an adult smiling at me as she inquired about how I was doing. There is no doubt in my mind that if a prayer needed to get through, she would pray until something happened.
Although our interaction with Mother Wallace has ended for now, her impartation of holiness and spiritual stability will remain in us.
My joy and sorrow are mixed, however I am proud to celebrate the legacy of a true pioneer in the body of Christ.

Mother Wallace was a wonderful inspiration to me and my family. I loved her and admired her so much. Through the many years that I knew her she never changed. She left her mark on the world and on the lives of all those she came in contact with. We are all better for having known this great woman of God.

Mother Wallace, I wanted to get up a say a few words at your "Going Home Celebration". But, I was too frightened of getting emotional like I did at my mother's "Celebration". I will always remember our Sunshine Band Days, our singing in the choir at the Temple, our many prayer services at Sis. Wallace's house and even the days that she taught us how to behave ourselves and most of all how much Sis. Wallace loved the Lord and all the young people.
God has called home another one of his faithful servants, to come and see the beauty of his Glory. Sister Wallace is just taking a nap.
Tears of sadness are sure to come but God is there to catch them all. Weeping may endure for a night, but such great joy is coming in the morning.
Our love, thoughts and prayers are with you and the family, God will give to you the strength and power to go through this time of sorrow.
