Earl Goodrum Obituary

Mr. Earl Goodrum, age 81, of Crockett, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2006 in the East Texas Medical Center-Crockett. Mr. Goodrum was born May 13, 1924 in Weldon and had lived in Crockett since 1986. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served during World War II. Mr. Goodrum was a retired rancher and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crockett.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Hazlett Goodrum of Crockett; son, David Goodrum and wife, Freida of Midland; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Earl Goodrum will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Crockett with Rev. Keeney Dickenson officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends Tuesday evening 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, c/o Kathy Haeckler, 404 North 7th St., Crockett, Texas 75835.
