Edward Ray Burrows, 78, of Midland, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 surrounded by his family. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel.
Edward Ray Burrows was born July 16, 1946 in Artesia, New Mexico to Helen (Ray) and Jack W. Burrows. Edward served in the United States Navy on the U.S. Kitty Hawk supercarrier from 1966 -1970. After his honorable discharge, he worked in construction. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Donna, on October 12, 1990.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Burrows, two sons, Steve Quain and wife, Julie of Midland; Warren Burrows and wife, Melissa of Borger, Texas; and daughter, Pam White of Borger; grandchildren, Megan and Juan Acosta of Borger, Jennifer and Ty Moose of Amarillo, Texas, Allyson and Tyler Ortega of Dumas, Texas, Paige Newcomb of Borger, Alexis and Scooter Hernandez of Amarillo, Zachary Whisenhunt of San Diego, CA, Caz Quain and fiancé DaLeesa Brown of Menard, Texas, Lindy and Cody Duffney of Chimney Rock, Colorado, Krystin McBride of Highland Village, Texas, Seth McBride of Texarkana, Texas, and Luke McBride of Dripping Springs, Texas. He is also survived by his many adored great grandchildren, Morgan, Saydee, Addison, Hannah, Bo, Baer, Brecklyn, Ridgleigh, Lyla, Forrest, River and Jaxon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Helen Burrows, his brother, Gary Burrows and two sisters, Jacque Morris and Barbie Wall.

I loved Ed. He was like a big brother. He always had a welcoming smile and was willing to help when he was needed.
I will miss him.
