Ernesto Rivas Arreola passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 26, 2022. He was born on February 28, 1988 in Porvenir D.B. Chih. He was raised in Kermit, TX and lived in Midland,TX. He attended Kermit high school and was a Graduate of the class of 2006. He was a band member, played football and cross country. Ernesto was a hard dedicated working man. He enjoyed and loved to make people laugh, loved to dance, was obsessed with video games, Pokémon. He also loved The New England Patriots and being with family. He was a beloved father to Ernesto Jr and Yareli, husband to Lizeth Chavez, a wonderful son to Albert Carrasco II and Consuelo Carrasco, a great big brother to Melissa Gloria, Albert Carrasco III and Alfredo Carrasco. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary service starting at 7:00 p.m. at Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home, 1502 N, Lamesa Rd Midland TX 79701. Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1401 Garden Lane Midland, TX 79701. Interment will immediately follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens 6800 SH-349 Midland, TX 79706. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home.
