F.A. Eilers Obituary
F.A. Eilers 53, of Odessa died Thursday August 31, 2006 at Hospice House in Odessa after a six month battle with cancer.
F.A. was born December 17, 1952 to proud parents Leo "Jr." and Peggie Teeters Eilers in Loraine, Tx. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1971. He then joined the United States Army and served his country for 4 1/2 years. In November of 1972, while in Fort Bragg, NC, F.A. met the love of his life and wife of 32 years Patsy Coble Eilers. They were married February 1, 1974. In August of 1975 F.A. and Pat moved to Lynchburg, Va, where he attended Thomas Road Bible Institute and studied to be a minister. In June of 1978 F.A. and Pat moved home to Odessa where F.A. worked in the oilfield until 1982. In May of 1982 F.A. went into the trucking business with his father Jr. together they ran Eilers Hot Shot until August 1986 when F.A. became the formal manager for Ace Transportation where he remained with Pat by his side until present. F.A. was a loving husband , father, and grandfather and touched many lives throughout the Permian Basin. He is survived by his wife Patsy Eilers of Odessa; daughter Christy Wade and husband Mike of El Paso, Tx; son Caleb Eilers and wife Casey of Odessa; parents Jr. and Peggie Teeters Eilers of Brownwood, Tx; sister Paula Hounshell and husband Perry of Midland, Tx and Betty Clay and husband Richard of Odessa, Tx; and brother Larry Eilers and wife Cullenette of Odessa, Tx; and four beautiful grandsons Nolan Box, Dustin and Cory Eilers and Tanner Wade.
Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at First Church of God. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Family visitation will be Sunday 3-5 pm at the funeral home

Frances K. Borsellino Garrett
Frances K. Borsellino Garrett, 89, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at her residence.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2920 Azle Ave. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Calvary Cemetery in Corsicana. Visitations will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Frances Garrett, a retired secretary, was born Aug. 25, 1917, in Corsicana, one of seven children of Paul and Bridgett Borsellino, who immigrated to America from Riberra, Sicily, Italy. She was a member of Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Frances graduated from Corsicana High School and attended Our Lady of Victory College in Fort Worth and retired from Mobil Oil Company.
She and her husband, Levi Bruce Garrett, traveled extensively in the United States and several foreign countries.
She served as president of the Southside Lions Auxiliary in Midland, where she lived for many years. She was also a member of Desk and Derrick Club for 30 years and the Saint Thomas Women's Organization.
She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Eileen Garrett D'Araujo and husband, John R. D'Araujo of Loudon, Tenn.; sons, L. Bruce Garrett II and wife, Donna of Coppell, Jesse Paul Garrett of Fort Worth and John Winfield Garrett and wife, Beth of Lampasas; grandchildren, Samantha D'Araujo Clark and husband, Ron of Plano, Cathleen D'Araujo Taylor of Loudon Tenn., Kelly Garrett Foster of Coppell, Matthew Garrett of Coppell, Regan Garrett of Chicago, and Clay Garrett and Ben Garrett of Lampasas; great-grandchildren, Matthew Clark and Hailey Clark of Plano and Melinda Taylor of Loudon, Tenn.; brother, Joseph Borsellino of Corsicana; numerous nieces and nephews.
