Ida "Mom" Robledo, of Midland, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011. She was born September 1, 1938 to the late Joe and Hazel Molinar in Marfa, TX. At the age of 11 she moved to Midland where she continued her education and met the love of her life, the late Paul Robledo of Midland. They were both members of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and were joined in marriage on May 30, 1955. Mom was a very loving and caring person, she had the biggest heart in the world. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Robledo, her parents, her brother and two great-grandchildren. Mom is survived by her seven children, Larry Robledo and wife Susana; Rosa Anna Robledo; Ida Rangel and husband Edward; Sue Ann Robledo; Paula Rangel and husband Carlos; Missie Soto and husband Richard; Lupe Turner and husband Scott, all of Midland; brothers, Raul Molinar of Mississippi; Jimmy Molinar of California and Eddie Molinar of Midland; sisters, Hazel Velarde of Midland; Gloria Sanchez of Valentine; Olivia Avalos of Weatherford; Sylvia Behenio of Midland; Beatrice White of Valentine and Bertha Height of Arizona. Mom had twenty-five grandchildren and forty-eight great-grandchildren. Thank you God for placing her in our lives, we were truly blessed! A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, March 28, 2011 in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation following. Funeral Mass has been scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Edward T. de Leon OMI officiating.
