Jimmie Don Samuels was born on March 19th, 1974 in Midland Texas to the late Jimmie D. Wright and Annie S. Hester. Jimmie attended school in Midland. He enjoyed using his hands and utilized his skills in carpentry to help remodel homes and was also great at fixing cars. Jimmie is preceeded in death by his Granny Willie F. Tubbs, brothers Thomas Hicks, Jeremiah Worsham, Glenn Worsham, sisters Frankie Worsham, Lesia Samuels, and baby daughter Memoree Samuels. He leaves to celebrate his life his mother Annie S. Hester, common law wife Ashley Lewis Samuels, children, Jimmie Don Samuels Jr., Jamal Samuels, Artayshia Bledsoe, Dajon Samuels, Jimelia Samuels, Justyce Samuels, Jada Samuels, Jayla Samuels, Jamerica Samuels, Samiya Samuels, Sa'Marion Samuels, Sa'Radion Samuels, Sa'Niyah Samuels, grandchildren Jordan Samuels, Zamaya Samuels, Miracle White, sisters Willie Cooks, Barbara Green, Debra Johnson, Patricia Saddler, Shannon Worsham all of Midland TX, Cathy Roberts (Derrick) of Lubbock TX, Janice Munson (Korey) of Houston TX, Angel Hawkins of Arlington TX, Andrea Wynn, Shandell Williams of Frederick OK, brothers Eddie Hicks of Midland TX, Jimmie Wright of Midland TX, Larry Wright of Abilene, and Jeremy Wright of Frederick OK. Viewing of the body will be Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Avalos-Sanchez & Thomas Funeral Home; 1502 N Lamesa Rd, Midland, TX. Service will be Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church; 410 S. Calhoun St. Midland TX 79701 with Elder Frank Nelson officiating.
