Maria A. Sanchez passed away December 29, 2021. She was born January 13, 1948 to Francisco and Maria Sanchez of Stanton, TX. She was a devoted Mother, Sister, Grandma, Great Grandma, and friend. Maria was a caregiver for many years, who cared and loved her patients. Some of her hobbies included dancing and shopping. She will be missed tremendously. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Theresa Ramos; sons Steve Ramos, Raymond Ramos Jr. and wife Kristeen Ramos, Joel Ramos and wife Tasha Ramos; brothers, Nick Sanchez, Basilio Sanchez, Ysidro Sanchez; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 6:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Ramos, Joel Ramos, Raymond Ramos Jr., Eric Sanchez, Jacob Ramos, and Johnny Ramos. Arrangements are entrusted to Stanton Memorial Funeral Home & Chapel.
