Martin Elias Portillo

Martin Elias Portillo, 46, of Midland, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011. He was born on March 17, 1965, in Del Rio, Texas, to Jose and Lucia Portillo. Martin is preceded in death by his mother, Lucia M. Portillo and his brother, Rogelio Portillo. He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Portillo of Midland; father, Jose Ramiro Portillo; sons: Martin Elias Portillo, Jr., Edgar A. Portillo, Rogelio Portillo, and Erik N. Portillo, all of Midland; daughter, Erica Y. Portillo of Midland; brothers: Jose R. Portillo, Jr. and Ruben Portillo, both of Midland, Roy Portillo of Kansas; sisters, Rosa Dominguez and Lucia M. Portillo, both of Midland, and Betty Portillo of Alabama; and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles. A prayer service will be held tonight at 7:00 p.m., at the Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service is set for Wednesday, October 12, at 10:00 a.m., at the Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Guadalupe Carranza officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Funeral services are under the direction of Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home.
