Melvin Dean Brown

Melvin Dean Brown, 61, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on April 27, 2015 in Midland, Texas. Melvin was born in Des Moines, Iowa on April 15, 1954 to Milton Melvin and Elwanda (Davis) Brown. He was raised in Pasadena, Texas. He served in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1977. He currently worked as an Electrician for Electrical Maintenance and Construction. Melvin is preceded in death by his parents, Milton Melvin and Elwanda Brown; and by a brother, Thomas Brown. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Brown; daughter, Mechelle and husband, Brian Bonger; son, Spencer and wife Kristy Everett; sister, Sandra Brown; brother, Gary Brown and wife Marcella Brown; and by grandchildren, Neleigh Everett, Trace Hensel, Aiden Everett, and Reese Hensel. A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2015 at West Odessa First Baptist Church with Reverend Glen Clark officiating. Interment will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
