Ninfa Mendoza Obituary

On December 29, 2022, Ninfa Alvarado Mendoza, loving wife to Miguel, mother of Maximus, loving sister, woman of faith and true friend, passed away at the age of 32, in Lubbock Texas. Ninfa was born on January 8, 1990 in midland, Texas. Ninfa met the love of her life and best friend Miguel Mendoza. His family welcomed her with open arms, they were married in august 2010. Ninfa was known for her infectious smile, her kind and compassionate spirit and her unwavering faith. she was a substitute at Greenwood ISD. She was the biggest cheerleader for her son Max at football and basketball. She was a member of Common Unity Church where she would take her nieces and nephews on Sundays and served as care team leader for Hope Mommies. Ninfa was devoted to her family, always caring for them. Many members would describe her as the "best" or "favorite" her absence will be felt every second of everyday, because she consistently loved, cared and touched all of our lives. She was preceded in death by her grandpa Jimmie Alvarado, her daughter McKinzie, her grandmother Maria Vela and son Maximilian Mendoza. Viewing will be held prior to funeral services on January 4, 2023 at American Heritage Funeral Home from 11 AM-12 PM. A funeral service will be held on January 4, 2023 at American Heritage Funeral Home beginning at 12:00 PM; burial immediately following at American Heritage Cemetery.
