Nora Norwood Obituary

Nora Lee (Billie) Norwood Nora Lee (Billie) Burrow Norwood passed away Friday, November 26, 2010 in Kingsland, Texas at the age of 98. She was born to Zack and Leona Burrow on January 20, 1912 in Calahan County, Texas. She lived in Midland, Texas for 72 years before moving to Kingsland, in 2005. Besides rearing her children, helping to rear her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she worked at several different jobs, from a flower shop, managing a coffee shop to child care, even into her 70th year. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Sidney (Skinny) Norwood; her daughter, Pauline Norwood Etheredge; great granddaughter, Rebecca Winkler; her parents, 14 siblings and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her son, Albert J. "Jay" Norwood; two daughters, Leila Norwood Winkler Hall and Sandra Kay Norwood Duncan; grandchildren, Wiley Rex Etheredge, Ronnie Joe Winkler, Howard Jay Etheredge, Lynn Ray Winkler, Connie Winkler Mikulenka, Michael Andrew Norwood, Barry Wade Duncan, Glenna Norwood Box, Paul Norwood Etheredge, Toi Lee Duncan Dickerson; great grandchildren, Rachel Sue Winkler, Porche Lynn Sheldon, Roper Milulenka, Miranda (Randy) Milulenka, Alex Fadhi-Theis, Dillon R.
