It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Orlando Parras Olgin, who departed this life on April 20, 2025. Orlando proudly served his country in the Army, exemplifying dedication, strength, and honor throughout his life.
A devoted father, he is survived by his beloved children: Derringer Rilla Ironhide (Orlando Olgin Jr) and Anthony Olgin, both of California, and Dexter Olgin of Texas. He also leaves behind his granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews who brought him joy and pride, as well as his cherished siblings, who supported and loved him through all stages of life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo Olgin and Emma Parras Olgin, whose legacy of love and resilience he carried forward in his own life.
Orlando will be remembered for his steadfast character, his love for family, and his quiet strength. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held at Primrose funeral Services located in Lytle Texas on May 12, 2025 From 5 P.M. to 9 P.M. with a rosary reciting at 7 P.M. On May 13th there will be a Mass located at St. Vincent De Paul located in San Antonio at 10:30 A.M. A burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30. After the services for sam everyone is welcome to join the family for a meal at St. Vincent De Paul.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks for the love and support received during this time and invites all who knew Orlando to join in honoring his life and legacy.
