Paul A. Hamels

Paul A. Hamels, 76, of Cheyenne, WY passed away July 1, 2021 at Davis Hospice Center. He was born April 21, 1945 in Boston, MA to Adrianus and Christine Hamels. He married Kathleen Hawkins on September 16, 1967 in Chula Vista, CA. Paul resided in Midland, TX with his family for over 30 years. During that time, he was a neuromuscular therapist and owned and operated the Green Tree Day Spa and Family Healing Arts Center. He moved to Cheyenne, WY in 2019 to be closer to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Rosie. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Hamels of Cheyenne; children, Lora & Dan Harvick of Cheyenne, Amy & Chris Tharp of Ft. Worth, TX and Bryce & April Hamels of Anchorage, AK; grandchildren, Haley & Eric Fisher, Cody Harvick, Abby Harvick, Ryan Tharp, Andrew Tharp and Ellie Hamels; great-grandchildren, Teagan & Payton Fisher; siblings, Ray Slowinski of Coral Springs, FL and Pearl Ann & Wallace Elliott of Willis, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents.
