My Thoughts And Prayers Are With Your Family

Best tio any girl could have! This amazing man whom I am honored and blessed to call my tio Paul, was an extraordinary gentle man. I can still remember high school memories. My tio would show up with flowers for my birthday or if he was passing by during work he would drop off fruit and chocolates. Every project I ventured into he was the first one to push me. As a baker he would always applaud my work and skills. Sometimes he would hang out while completing a wedding cake and just keep me distracted from stressing out. During my college career he was my biggest supporter always pushing me forward. While I was completing my degrees in San Antonio he would write letters, call, but most of all he would listen and give the best advice.
My tio was an extremely joyful individual. He loved to sing. He used to sing with my Tia Anita and Tio Gumaro. My tio Gumaro with guitar in hand and the three would serenade us. My tio Paul was also an amazing cook. In his younger years he worked around town in different local restaurants. He would leave his little grain of sand everywhere he worked. He also owned a restaurant here in the area as well as in El Paso. He was famous for his Asado verde & rojo. He always called his asado verde a Santana family recipe. I was very blessed to be given the recipe!! This amazing uncle of mine was also the glue that kept the family close and United. My tio always knew who needed a an extra hug, a visit, or simply just a little food to keep going. Those amazing hugs are what I will forever miss. My tio accomplished many things throughout the course of his life, but his biggest triumph was his family!!!
Forever in my heart!!!
