Roy Roundtree

Roy Roundtree, 89, of Midland died on October 5, 2022 at Midland Medical Lodge. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm, Monday, October 10, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland, Texas. A service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Evergreen Cemetery Chapel in Stanton, Texas. Roy was born on August 14, 1933 in Ada, Oklahoma and married the love of his life, Mildred Roundtree on April 21, 1952 at the Smith Chapel Baptist Church near Goldsmith. Roy retired from El Paso Natural Gas after 33 years. They moved to Midland from Comanche, Texas in early 2000. Survivors include two sons, David Roundtree of Midland, and Michael Roundtree of Wickett; one daughter Penny Sevart and husband Terry of Midland, 5 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, his wife of 53 years Mildred, one grandson and one daughter-in-law.
